What I wrote in 2021
You can work at a bank after coming to America, in Florida too. You have to show your educational qualifications, and along with that you have to show prior experience handling cash and handling personal information. There is a background check here and there will be an assessment test. Pass those and you get the job. You need basic computer knowledge.
A lot of people arrive here, first do customer support related work to build experience, get good at communication and the technical side, and then apply to a bank as a teller and start working. Alongside that they take a two year associate degree in banking and finance, and many do a four year bachelor's as well. That is how people become bankers, loan officers, mortgage consultants and so on.
If you have long banking experience in Bangladesh, you can get a job as a personal banker by proving it. But those are not very widely available, and preference is given to people with local degrees, depending on the bank. So you can try to get a local degree. Thank you.
